Terms of service

  1. General By placing an order with Beyond Bage, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases made through our website, social media platforms, or direct invoices. We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. 
  2. Products & Handmade Items Many of our products are handmade, personalised, or custom finished. Due to the nature of handmade products: * Minor imperfections, variations in colour, texture, sizing, and finish may occur. * Product photos are for illustration purposes only and colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings. * No two handmade items will be completely identical. These are not considered faults.
  3. Personalised & Custom Orders For personalised items: * Customers are responsible for checking all spelling, dates, names, sizing, colours, and custom details before placing an order. * Beyond Bage cannot accept responsibility for customer errors submitted during ordering. * Personalised or custom-made items are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged upon arrival. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
  4.  Processing Times Estimated processing times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur during busy periods, holidays, postal disruptions, supplier delays, or circumstances outside our control. We will always do our best to keep customers informed of any significant delays.
  5.  Shipping & Delivery Orders are shipped using Royal Mail or other selected courier services. Once an order has been dispatched: * Delivery times are the responsibility of the postal/courier provider. * Beyond Bage is not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, strikes, weather disruption, customs delays, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Customers must ensure shipping details are correct at checkout.
  6.  Royal Mail Liability & Compensation All parcels are shipped with the level of compensation included within the selected postage service unless additional insurance has been purchased. Royal Mail compensation limits apply as follows: * Standard services may only cover items up to the compensation value included with that service. * Beyond Bage is not liable for losses exceeding Royal Mail’s compensation limits unless additional cover has been purchased prior to dispatch. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit: * Claims must be reported to us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. * Customers may be required to provide photographs of packaging and damaged items for claim purposes. * Compensation or replacements are subject to Royal Mail or courier investigation outcomes. We reserve the right to replace an item rather than issue a refund where appropriate.
  7.  Breakages & Damaged Items If your order arrives damaged: * You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. * Clear photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label must be provided. Failure to provide evidence within this timeframe may affect our ability to process a claim. Beyond Bage is not responsible for damage caused after delivery, misuse, accidental handling, improper storage, or normal wear and tear.
  8.  Returns & Refunds Under UK consumer law: * Non-personalised items may be returned within 14 days of receipt. * Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned at the buyer’s expense unless faulty. The following items are non-returnable unless faulty: * Personalised products * Custom-made products * Sale or clearance items Refunds will be processed once returned items have been received and inspected.
  9.  Incorrect Addresses If a customer provides an incorrect shipping address: * Beyond Bage is not responsible for lost parcels. * Additional postage costs for re-delivery may apply. 1
  10.  Uncollected or Returned Parcels If an item is returned to us due to: * failed delivery attempts, * refusal, * or failure to collect from a depot/post office, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipping costs. Original postage costs are non-refundable.
  11. Product Care & Safety Customers are responsible for using products safely and as intended. Beyond Bage accepts no liability for: * misuse, * accidental damage, * improper care, * or use outside intended purposes. Adult supervision is advised where applicable.
  12.  Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Bage shall not be liable for: * indirect or consequential losses, * delays outside our control, * postal or courier failures, * or damages exceeding the value of the original order. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
